Ennoble Training Courses

Ennoble is continuously preparing more training courses to satisfy the needs of our students. When appropriate, we submit applications to various state agencies for approval. If such approval is required, it is noted in the course description. Typically, Ennoble will provide onsite training for 5 or more students. The utility or company requesting the training can opt to host the course as a private in-house event or as a public event for students outside of their own facility. Customized training can also be created and offered for your convenience.

Basic Drinking Water Treatment

Our 40 Hour Basic Drinking Water Treatment is approved in Georgia for GA Class III Drinking Water Treatment Operators. This course is not only approved for 40 hours of basic training, but it is also accepted for 12 continuing education points. 
The course covers the material as specified by the Association of Boards of Certification Needs-To-Know Criteria for certification exams. 
Students that take this course will receive;
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes the notes and reference information for the 40-hour training course. 
  • A copy of WSO Water TreatmentGrade 2 from the American Water Works Association. 
  • Graded assignments and in-class Final Exam that is created to determine weak areas students need to focus on before taking the official certification exam.
  • Access to online practice exams to continue to prepare for the Water Treatment Operators Certification Exam. 
  • Continued email and online support leading up to the certification exam. 

Basic Wastewater Treatment

The 40 Hour Wastewater Treatment is approved in Georgia for GA Class III Wastewater Treatment Operators. This course is also approved for 12 continuing education points. 
The course covers the material as specified by the Association of Boards of Certification Needs-To-Know Criteria for certification exams.
Students that take this course will receive;
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes the notes and reference information for the 40-hour training course. 
  • A copy of Wastewater Treatment Fundamentals I: Liquid Treatmentfrom Water Environment Federation. 
  • Graded assignments and in-class Final Exam that is created to determine weak areas students need to focus on before taking the official certification exam.
  • Access to online practice exams to continue to prepare for the Wastewater Treatment Operators Certification Exam. 
  • Continued email and online support leading up to the certification exam. 

Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Ennoble currently offers a 27-30 hour Industrial Wastewater Treatment Operator course. This course is currently approved by the Georgia Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators for 27 Hours of Basic Training and 12 continuing education points. The course covers the material as specified by the Association of Boards of Certification Needs-To-Know Criteria for certification exams. ​
Students that take this course will receive: 
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes the notes and reference information for the 27-hour training course. 
  • A copy of Industrial Waste Treatment, Latest Edition from the USCS Office of Water Programs. 
  • Graded assignments and in-class Final Exam that is created to determine weak areas that students need to focus on. 
  • Access to online practice exams to continue to prepare for the GA Industrial Certification Exam. These practice exams can be completed after the training course is over. 
  • Continued email support leading up to the certification exam.

Distribution Systems Operator Training

Ennoble currently offers a 27-30 hour Distribution Systems Operator course. This course is approved by the Georgia Board Of Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators for 27 Hours of Basic Training and 12 continuing education points. For Alabama operators, there are 15 hour and 30 hour versions of this course. The course covers the material as specified by the Association of Boards of Certification Needs-To-Know Criteria for certification exams.  
Students that take this course will receive;
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes the notes and reference information for the 27-hour training course.
  • Either a copy of Water Distribution System Operation and Maintenance, Latest Edition from the USCS Office of Water Programs or WSO Water Distribution Grades 1&2 from the American Water Works Association. The choice of reference material is determined by the utility requesting the training course.
  • Graded assignments and in-class Final Exam that is created to determine weak areas that students need to focus on prior to taking the official certification exam. 
  • Access to online practice exams to continue to prepare for the Distribution Certification Exam. These practice exams can be completed after the training course is over.
  • Continued email support leading up to the certification exam.

Collection Systems Operator Training 

Ennoble currently offers a 27-30 hour Collection Systems Operator course. This course is currently approved by the Georgia Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators for 27 Hours of Basic Training and 12 continuing education points. For Alabama operators, there are 15 hour and 30 hour versions of this course. The course covers the material as specified by the Association of Boards of Certification Needs-To-Know Criteria for certification exams. ​
Students that take this course will receive:
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes the notes and reference information for the 27-hour training course.
  • A copy of Operation and Maintenance of Wastewater Collection Systems Volume 1 & 2, Latest Editions from the USCS Office of Water Programs.
  • Graded assignments and in-class Final Exam that is created to determine weak areas that students need to focus on.
  • Access to online practice exams to continue to prepare for the Collection Certification Exam. These practice exams can be completed after the training course is over.
  • Continued email support leading up to the certification exam.

Basic Operator Math for Water & Wastewater

This 1-Day Basic Math course is designed to give current and potential treatment operators an overview of the fundamentals required to solve mathematical problems in water & wastewater treatment. The course is designed to build a foundation that will help operators break down a math problem into its fundamental components and facilitate its solution. The topics covered include why math is needed in treatment, units of measure, an overview of the tools used for operator math (calculators & formula sheets), unit conversions, problem-solving strategy, flow, velocity, detention time, loading rate, chemical feed, etc.
Students that take this course will receive:
  • An Ennoble Training Solutions course manual that includes notes and practice problems
  • The manual consists of additional problems and solutions that students can continue to solve after class is over
  • Access to online math practice exams to reinforce and assess the skills of the students

Basic Math for the Laboratory

This 1-Day course is designed to give current and potential laboratory analysts an overview of the fundamentals required to solve mathematical problems in the water & wastewater laboratory. The course is designed to build a foundation that will help laboratory professionals break down a math problem into its fundamental components and facilitate its solution. The topics covered include laboratory measurements, using calculators and formula sheets for the certification exam, problem solving strategies, unit conversions, summarizing laboratory data, chemical concentrations and solutions. The course also dives into laboratory specific calculations such as; titrations, temperature conversions, sample collection, B.O.D. and bacterial counts.

This 1-Day course is for anyone wishing to understand the basics of Biological Nutrient Removal. This topic is essential for anyone struggling to fully understand the nutrient reduction capabilities of biological wastewater treatment.

Introduction to Drinking Water Rules & Regulations

This 1-Day course is for anyone that wants to comprehend the many rules and regulations associated with the US Safe Drinking Water Act. This course will assist anyone want to more fully understand the goals of these requirements and why they exist.

Drinking Water Microbiology: A Crash Course

This is one of our most popular 1-Day courses. This course is for anyone that has already taken the required basic training for the Wastewater Collections Exam in either Georgia or Alabama and is still finding the certification exam difficult. 
In this course;

  • We cover the tools and techniques that can be used to prepare the operator for success.

Drinking Water Distribution System Operators Refresher Course

Like the WW Collections course above, this is another very popular 1-Day course. This course is for anyone that has already taken the required basic training for the Drinking Water Distribution Exam in either Georgia or Alabama and is still finding the certification exam difficult.
